Londonderry Man Arrested on Statutory Rape Charges

On Christmas Eve, Christopher Davis 48, 2 Berkshire Lane was arrested on four counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault Statutory Rape.

The arrest affidavit from Detective Donald A. Laduke included forensic interviews with two children alleging sexual and physical child abuse, and with an additional child alleging physical abuse.

The alleged victims are a female age 9, a female age 12 and a male age 10.

Laduke wrote that he had also investigated Davis for a previous child sexual abuse allegation in 2008.

The affidavit states that on March 18, 2013, a woman came to the police station with her two daughters, mentioned above, to report physical abuse to her son and sexual abuse of her daughters. She said the children had lived with Davis, a relative of her former husband, during the previous 2 1/2 years.

All three children were interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County on March 27. Both girls reported being sexually abused by Davis while they lived at his home. Both girls described him as drinking Bud Light beer from the early afternoon until late into the night or early morning and graphically described incidents of sexual abuse. In describing one incident, the younger girl said Davis took her into the garage, stood her on a table, grabbed a hook from a wall, pressed it to her neck and threatened to cut her neck because she was crying too loudly when he sexually assaulted her.

The older girl also reported being threatened in the garage with a knife, with burning and with having oil poured into her ear if she told anyone about what she described as multiple sexual assaults.

On April 5, a search warrant, granted by a 10th Circuit Court, was executed at 2 Berkshire Lane and items described by the older girl were found in the home.

On April 8, Davis was interviewed at the Londonderry Police Station. He did not admit to sexually molesting either girl. When confronted with the belief that he did commit the crime, the affidavit states he did not show any change in emotion or give any indicators that the accusation was upsetting to him, according to the affidavit.

Davis posted $7,500 corporate surety bond on Dec. 24 and was ordered to have no contact with any female under the age of 16 years old.
